Implementing Quality Procurement
The guiding philosophy behind Lintech’s Vendor Management System is to use suppliers who sell quality products and to negotiate the lowest costs with them.
To that end, Lintech Components follows a strict supplier qualification process. Our staff performs rigorous prescreening and research that incorporates vendor selection criteria such as an assessment based on SAE AS6081 criteria for Counterfeit Electronic Parts Avoidance, Detection, Mitigation and Disposition. We also pursue ongoing measures to make sure that each vendor continues to meet Lintech's high standards. Lintech Components' formal supplier review process includes a Continuous Supplier Assessment Report (CSAR) that evaluates numerous criteria and performance thresholds.We also sporadically survey vendors via audits and on-site visits and monitor industry watchdog sites daily for any new issues that may arise. Detailed information is easily accessible within the company so that our procurement team has up-to-date information to ensure quality from our suppliers.
