Lintech Certified to Latest QMS Standards
After undergoing comprehensive audits, ISOQAR has certified Lintech Components’ quality management system for the distribution of electronic components for military and aerospace applications to both ISO 9001:2015 and AS9120B. Issued in March (six months ahead of schedule), this certification provides assurances that Lintech has the processes in place to provide consistently high quality active and passive ECs including semiconductors, integrated circuits and memory devices.
Both updated standards focus on a risk-based approach to ensuring quality at all organizational levels. ISO 9001:2015 is now less prescriptive (focusing on performance more than before) and is more easily integrated with other, sector-specific quality management systems. The 2016 iteration of SAE’s AS9120 standard includes first-time requirements to mitigate the effects of counterfeit product, including inspection or periodic testing and reporting requirements. As a leader in counterfeit mitigation that has also earned a place on the U.S. Defense Logistics quality supplier and tester lists, Lintech maintains a constant focus on keeping substandard, including inauthentic, EEE parts out of our customers supply chains.
